I first started playing lacrosse in 1967 at William Hulmes Grammar School so there has been a lot of lacrosse played and coached since then. I have played in two world championships, coached at one world championship and supported my son, Chris, at another world championship.
As a Level 3 Coach I have been involved over the last fifteen years or so in developing the junior lacrosse programme at Brooklands Hulmeians Lacrosse Club. Jack Murray was one of the first players to be involved in the programme and I am delighted to see him now playing international lacrosse for Wales.
The 2014 World Championships in Denver was my first role as a coach at senior level. I thoroughly enjoyed the experience and am looking forward to coaching at the 2016 European Championships.
