Wales Mens Lacrosse

Paul Simpson #20

I started playing lacrosse when I was 9 years old in the age of the Bacharach at Sale Lacrosse Club with my elder brother. We were having swimming lessons at the local sports centre when an American asked us if we wanted to try a sport called Lacrosse. I went onto tour with the Under 13s team to Canada in 1991 and went onto play for U16s, U19s and then Senior Mens. Sale eventually merged with my current club Brooklands Lacrosse Club, I first represented Wales in 2001 at the European Championships held in Cardiff, Wales and have not missed a major tournament since.
