Wales Mens Lacrosse

James Tiley

R M James TileyI began Playing lacrosse back in 2000 when a LDO came to my primary school and first introduced me to the sport. I was immediately hooked and joined Welwyn Warriors U12’s team, rising through the Youth ranks all the way top the senior set up and becoming first team captain at the age of 17. I left the club after a year of coaching as a 19-year-old to go to University where I spent the next 3 years representing Swansea University, Swansea Hawks and Cardiff Harlequins respectively.
I Represented the South of England at U16, U19 and senior level but always strived to represent Wales, with my first exposure in the development team at the 2010 world games. I currently Play for Cardiff Harlequins in the southern premiership.
Budapest will be my first tournament at senior international level. It’s a great privilege to be a part of the squad and I look forward to setting the standard for future tournaments!
