Wales Mens Lacrosse

Jack Murray

A Jack MurrayI currently play lacrosse for Brooklands Hulmeians Lacrosse club where I started playing at the age of 5. Eventually I progressed through the junior system to make my 1st team debut 11 years later.

I spent 4 unbelievable years playing for the Tanger Army (Sheffield Uni) which has left me with some great memories and helped me develop as a player. During this period we achieved various accolades, most notably gaining back to back promotions to restore SUMLC back to the top flight of Northern Lacrosse. Whilst in Sheffield I went on to represent Yorkshire and North Uni's along with captaining Sheffield Hallam in their inaugural year of competing in the BUCS league.

My first taste of international lacrosse came in 2012 when I played for Wales in the Euros in Amsterdam, from there I went on to be selected for the World Championship squad that competed in Denver 2014. These were both top experiences and I'm delighted to have the opportunity to represent Wales again in Hungary this summer!
